Our economy is very sick, historically the IE has always suffered more than other communities and is among the last to recover from any recession. Business owners are living on past savings, they are retiring, moving, scaling down or going BK.  These are the guys that have been here for decades, who helped build our community. Who is going to replace them and the jobs they have created?
