Wasn’t it recently announced that Matt Brown was joining the newly reorganized Office of Legislative Affairs directly reporting to CAO Devereaux? What position has he been offered at the newly formed ACRTTC? As far as ACR being a “dumping ground” please entertain the thought that there are many educated, talented, and hard working people in the office who because of their efforts keep the spotlight off of Mr. Walker (and he doesn’t even have to make an appearance at the office…) Naturally, the exception to that is the Recorder…but won’t that be taken care of once the division is moved under Assessor Draeger?

Devilreaux will use this situation to his advantage just like he has the Ovitt/Kirk conspiracy liked to the AG/DA’s Colonies John Doe #4. Thought he was placing Brown in the new “legislative” branch of the Devil’s massive 5th Floor empire just because he knows John Doe #5 (aka Biane) will be on the outs come November?

The ACR is the dumping ground for all the misfit toys in the county. The problem is that each of these people get large salaries in new positions and their superiors get nice increases to make sure that they make more than their new appointees. That is what happens when a mega department is created. No real savings have resulted from the merger.
