InlandPolitics has obtained the names of two deputies who responded to the incident previously published at www.iepolitics.com involving District Attorney Mike Ramos and his alcohol-induced disrespect for law enforcement officers doing there jobs.
Since Ramos went outside the location to speak with Sheriff’s Deputies Gordon and Perea, the definition of “Drunk in Public” could apply.
However, more importantly though, the term “Obstructing or Interfering with an Officer” would seem more appropriate.
Efforts are being made to secure a copy of the digital recording of the incident.
Developing….

And lets all hope neither of those Deputies get re-assigned to say Needles, Ca.
so was he partying at the house of his newest girlfriend Cindy Schaum? Didnt she move to Mentone to be closer to the pervert?
Please tell me that Schaum is not really seeing him….Tell me it isn’t so
Having a good time at friends home is not a “drunk in public incident.”
Blogger, this is nearly a non-incident. Be clear, I enjoy reading your articles and have posted some in Cactus Thorns (with ping feedbacks to inlandPolitics). I am no fan of the D.A. and have posted many articles not favorable to him. I will vote for another candidate.
This sort of thing is wrong.
Postscript: a smear is not a news story.
Sorry Branson, in a yard or on a front porch in PUBLIC VIEW is drunk in public, if you are in fact drunk.
I think the bigger issue is Ramos’s attitude toward the Deputies more than his level of intoxication.
Point to be made is both his alcohol use and demeanor have been the topic of conversation more than once.
You might recall the conference incident in Lake Arrowhead some time ago?
A smear on a topic discussed more than a few times and true, I don’t think that is a smear.
