Then maybe I can start my own newspaper, force city vendors to buy ads in that paper, and then resign because I have violated state laws. Naw... nobody would believe me! So maybe I should run for City office, get elected, ingratiate myself to big money developers, have them get me a cushy job where I have no qualifications, allowing me to perform “Governmental functions” as a city council member. This is a politicaly motivated charge. Give me a job, don't supervise me and let me come to work and leave work when I want - That is a job description for 80% of Government workers. The DA ought to look at ALL county employees. Where is the county Inspector General? Besides, Rex was busy peforming Governmental functions as a city council member.
