Don Kurth
The San Bernardino City Professional Firefighters have announced their endorsement of Dr. Don Kurth, Mayor of Rancho Cucamonga for election to the California State Assembly – 63rd District.
The seat is being vacated by Bill Emmerson (R – Redlands), who is termed out. Emmerson is currently campaigning to replace John Benoit in the State Senate.

Glad he’s the front runner. Has my vote.
Why should we vote for someone endorsed by fats abernathys group?
Agreed, outsider, why would you, in this economy, vote for a candidate that is supported by one most significant drains on public coffers: firefighters. Oh, sure we need them to get our cats down from the trees and pull us from our cars after we go to a strip club, leave in a drunken stupor, and then crash into things but….Seriously, shouldn’t a safety endorsement be looked at with a little more trepidation?
