Some of you don't know this, but when the board members are assigned to organizations such as the Governor's Office of Emergency Services, they are issued a badge, along with a picture ID.
One Supervisor had more badges, then he had brains.

Did he get any badges, like the supervisors carry?

Some of you don’t know this, but when the board members are assigned to organizations such as the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, they are issued a badge, along with a picture ID.

One Supervisor had more badges, then he had brains.

By: AntiCorruptionUnit

<guid

If you have horses, sell them. If you have a Harley Davidson, buy a Honda.

All I can say Mr.CAO, is play golf with your wife and immediate friends who are not in politics and life will be good.

If you have horses, sell them. Devereaux doesn't know anything else but self-service, public service as he understands it, is conducted at his will and pleasure (only). It is way too late to be trying to ask the Devil to "be clean, not dirty", he has already compromised any business ethics he may have once had, long ago, and is now used to violating the public trust on a regular basis. Does Chairman O. really think he can bring in a hatchet-man of a CAO when this County is in a real financial crisis, and have his "slash and burn" style not throw this County into complete economic disparity (to be known as the welfare county of this welfare state)o:? The County, with the Devil as CAO, is already at a crossroads due to his past misbehavior with County officials and their developer friends. The BOS better forge a new majority involving the three seated Supervisors that haven't been implicated in Ramos's Colonies complaint and throw the Devil to the curb before he takes this County down a road to ruin.

Lets see the Devil try to wriggle his way out of this one. I do wish him all success in serving the good people of San Bernardino. It just seems to me that he should have known better to fly all around the country in a private jet with Colonies, Inc., partners. Devereaux is the guy making the big bucks, and his behavior raises big ethical issues. Devereaux got caught and later paid his own way. Okay, back to business as usual -- that's the way it works in county government. No accountability unless you get caught then get a atta boy be more careful next time.
Will there a next time CAO Devereaux? We are paying you a pretty handsome salary such that you should be financially solvent to even pay for your own meals. Accept nothing.
I would be quite overjoyed if your FORM 700 claimed nothing. That will show character and ethical health. You were (when you accepted the jet shuttle across the country and golf perks) and are now a public servant -- be clean, not dirty. Always pay your own way.
Welcome aboard.

Greg Devereaux begins his first day on the job and likely made about $1500.

I do wish him all success in serving the good people of San Bernardino.
